We'd be lying if we said it was meaningless.
Actually, we're over the moon.
Delighted, chuffed, ecstatic in fact.
On Tuesday, March Women and our founder Laura Brunnen were collectively named as finalists for 5 of the 32 awards at this year's Women and Diversity in Law Summit and Awards
🏆 Responsible Business of the Year
🏆 Gender Equality Initiative of the Year
🏆 DEI Programme of the Year
🏆 Woman of the Year
🏆 Responsible Leader of the YearI
It's not meaningless because someone else thinks March Women's mission - to transform the dealmaking landscape for women - matters.
*March has officially existed for less than 12 months (1st year anniversary next month) and is funded by our founder's business The Legal Strategist and membership subscriptions - yet it's been short listed from over 350 entries, many submitted by global businesses with huge teams and oodles of marketing budget - full list of finalists here: https://lnkd.in/eYTWE7fm
Compare that with us personally writing up the submissions that all nominees were required to make 😅
It is also exciting to see so many of our friends and contacts (or their organisations) shortlisted - the awards ceremony on March 13th is going to be a great night!
Ayse Yazir, Century City, ELE, Emma Clarke, Florence Brocklesby, Hannah Beko, Jodie Hill and Leena Birdi - good luck to us all 💪
