I’m Elizabeth Blackwell, Director at Aon M&A and Transactions Solutions. I use my M&A experience to build connections and raise awareness of Aon’s M&A offering within the adviser community. My goal is to help bring the breadth of Aon’s capabilities to create client value across deals, portfolios and similar opportunities.
All types of event-driven insurance, such as W&I, D&O, tax/contingent and litigation insurance. We also provide specialist transaction advisory services across commercial IP, cyber security, health & benefits and retention and insurance to better inform clients of risk and value decisions and opportunities. This applies to all types of situation – from vanilla M&A or Private Equity secondaries, to complex carve-outs, distressed situations, raising growth capital and unwinding investment funds and other contractual arrangements.
M&A is a people business. Execution excellence is paramount but do not forget the importance of managing your personal network, both internally and externally, and, when assessing capacity for work, to factor in time to build relationships.
